Physical Therapy | Pet Rehabilitation

Pets, just like people, can suffer lingering effects from an injury or surgical procedure. That's why physical rehabilitation is an essential part of feeling better. It can address the nagging aches and pains that slow your pet down.

At VSEC our rehabilitation specialist will devise a rehabilitation program to fit your pet's specific needs. Whether it's an older pet with arthritis, or a patient recovering from spinal surgery, studies show physical therapy speeds recovery and improves strength and mobility. By employing exercise equipment, such as our underwater treadmill, and offering instruction on home-care techniques, your pet will benefit from the expert care our rehabilitation specialist can provide.

After review of your pet's medical history, medications, and lifestyle, our specialist will examine your pet's range of motion and muscle girth, perform a gait analysis, and palpate the injured area. This thorough evaluation will be used to create an effective treatment plan designed specifically for your pet's optimum health.
